Healthy Paleo Diet Recipe

These burger patties are made with sweet potato, onion, and a blend of other flavors to jazz up a simple beef burger. Top it off with sliced tomato, guacamole, or whatever your heart desires!

Makes about 12-14 patties, depending on size.

– 3 lbs ground beef
– 3/4 large sweet potato
– 3/4 onion
– 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon minced garlic
– handful fresh parsley
– 1/2 cup tomato paste


Peel and finely dice the sweet potato and onion. Finely dice the parsley. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl until evenly distributed. Take a handful of the mixture and mold into a beef patty, about the size of the palm of your hand.

Throw them on the grill and let them cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side, or until dark. Flip each patty and let cook for another 5-7 minutes. Make sure meat is thoroughly cooked through.

Serve and enjoy!
